Examination Committee is a body authorised to conduct examinations and make policy decisions regarding organising and holding examinations, improving systems of assessments, moderations, etc., preparing a schedule of examinations and declaring the results.
The Examination Committee deals with all the matters concerning examinations and hears the complaints received about any point arising out of the conduct of examinations, and decides the course of action.
To conduct an internal assessment and external examination related work as per university notifications and ordinance.
Role and Responsibility
✓ The Examination Committee shall prepare relevant time-tables for the college based on the examination time-table.
✓ The Examination Committee shall make the block and seating arrangement and display them on the concerned notice board/website and blocks.
✓ Though the teaching faculty is entitled to vacation if eligible, they are expected to be available for examination duty for at least two weeks. Hence, they shall give their vacation preference dates to the Exam Committee in the specified format.

✓ The Exam Committee shall prepare and display a comprehensive supervision duty list and a daily supervision duty list on the staff notice board.
✓ The Exam Committee shall ensure that adequate stationery like answer sheets, drawing sheets, charts, graph papers, drawing boards, trays, threads, water jugs, etc., are made available.
✓ The Exam Committee shall hold a pre-exam meeting to brief the faculty members concerning the examination procedures. The report's role and responsibilities shall be submitted to the principal.
✓ The committee should collect examiners' names for assessment and moderation of each subject from respective HODs.
✓ To collect a list of examiners for assessment and moderation of each subject from the respective BoS Chairman.
✓ The Exam cell, in consultation with the CE, shall contact members of the panel (provided by the HOD) and shall prepare the list of the Examiners depending on their availability.
✓ The CoE shall ensure that the evaluation and moderation process is completed on time and sent to the university for necessary approval within 30 days from the last examination date.
✓ The CoE and Exam Cell shall be in touch with the university to obtain the necessary approvals on time.
✓ All the results shall be displayed on the respective students' notice boards/College websites after 4 pm. A copy of the same shall be sent to the respective HODs.
✓ Under the guidance of the CE, the Exam Cell shall analyse the respective HODs shall verify the exam results and the same. After due verification, copies of the result analysis shall be sent to HODs, the Principal and Secretary.
✓ Preparation of smooth conduct of examinations, time-table schedules, invigilation duty chart, Seat allotment in the examination halls etc.
Term: The term of the nominated members shall be two years.
Meeting: The EC shall meet at least thrice in a semester or as and when necessary.
